Maryann Hanley is a Certified Public Accountant registered by the State of New Jersey with considerable experience in tax, accounting, and audit. Maryann joined the firm in 2010.
Prior to joining Cronin & Hanley, LLC, Maryann worked for Scholastic Inc. in New York for over 15 years. During her tenure at Scholastic, Maryann had multiple roles of increasing responsibilities. She first began as a member of the internal audit staff and was promoted along the way to Trade Business Manager. She coordinated the monthly close and analysis of financial books and coordinated printing, pricing and inventory decision-making with sales, marketing, and editorial management.
Earlier in her career, Maryann spent over two years at Arthur Andersen & Co. in a variety of audit functions.
In addition to her work experience, Maryann has spent much time over her career as either the Treasurer or Executive Board member of many organizations in northern New Jersey. Her duties included completing federal and state tax returns, charitable organization filings and preparing payroll and monthly reporting.
Maryann is a member of both the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accounts and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.
