Our dedicated team of professionals provides high quality services to businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates located throughout the United States. Our services include tax planning and compliance, all stages of IRS and state filings, advocating in response to IRS and State tax notices, bookkeeping, bill pay services for high-net-worth individuals, QuickBooks management and more. CHVL began back in 1997, when Diana M. Cronin, one of the earliest female partners at Arthur Andersen, LLC, decided to conclude her tenure at Andersen and venture out on her own. With a passion to serve clients with a personal touch, and a desire to invest in her local community, Diana formed Diana M. Cronin, LLC.
After years of serving clients with her trademark skill, Diana determined that she needed to deepen the bench of expertise for the business. As she began the search for suitable partners, opportunity arose from—of all places—her daughter Calais, and Calais’s circle of friends! Diana recognized that she didn’t need to look far for the partners she needed; they were right in her local community, fellow moms of young girls, who were also at the top of their accounting and financial game! It was through this community connection that Maryann Hanley and Cara Van Zile came on board, to form Cronin, Hanley & Van Zile, LLC.
In-House Tools and Expertise
Through our in-house tools and expertise we are able to assist clients with federal and state tax filings and problem resolution, general financial personal and business issues, and support for budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
We file quarterly taxes, perform tax planning and preparation and help clients understand how to leverage tax strategies and develop budgets. In addition, CHVL handles the bill paying function for several high net worth individuals and small businesses, including timely standard and ad hoc reporting at the clients requested frequency.
Our staff provides personalized service and will consult with you to discuss the services we provide and determine how CHVL can assist you with your tax planning and/or financial requirements. In 2021, after a full and enriching career, Diana retired from CHV. Then the following year, Heather Lorenzo became the fourth partner in the history of the firm, now known as Cronin, Hanley, Van Zile & Lorenzo.
Cronin, Hanley, Van Zile & Lorenzo continue to be more than an accounting firm—they’re also a force for good in their own community! Having partnered with their daughters’ non-profit venture, Kommunity Kids, CHVL seeks to stimulate social entrepreneurship ventures across the globe, helping to alleviate global poverty through industry and economic growth. One of the main activities of Kommunity Kids is to open up channels of commerce to sell beautiful homemade goods, handcrafted by women throughout the developing world, which can sustain their lives and open up new opportunities for them to rise above poverty.
